Studies show that visual stimulation can have a powerful impact on our minds and state of being. Something we see once can stay with us a life time.

You may have felt it when you look at a particular painting, picture or see a certain view in nature that brings you a sense of peace, joy, fulfillment. You may also be able to recall a time when a challenging image has impacted you strongly to take action. Let’s get the potential of this inner wisdom and power working in our favour.

Join Nrinder for a session designed to help you create a meaningful image as your touchstone for 2017. We will integrate guided meditation, reflective writing and loads of creative time to make our vision boards.

The $30 registration will include all materials and light refreshments to fuel the process.

Saturday, February 11th

Join us for a cooking class dedicated to the love of chocolate on Saturday Feb 11th from 2-4pm at the Kitchen Collective.

We’ll spend some time demystifying all the tremendous health benefits of chocolate just in time for some self love or sharing the love on Valentine’s Day.

Once we have created our chocolate truffles, bark, and delicacies in the class, participants will be encouraged to do a bit of a swap so we can all walk away with a delightful mix of treats to enjoy ourselves or with loved ones.

Ever wonder what is in garam marsala?
Curious how to make a perfect cup of chai, consistently?
Want to know what herbs will help boost your immunity this winter?

If you answered yes to any of the above, this class is for you. You can expect to learn what each herb and spice has to offer nutritionally and medicinally. You will learn traditional ratios passed down from generations and learn how to tweak them based on your needs and palate.

Each participant will go home with their two stashes of personalized spices, herbs and teas to enjoy at home (or perhaps, gift to someone else).

We are so very excited to be hosting this special fundraising cooking class with our friends at Karam Kitchen.

Join us and learn to create authentic, delicious and nutritious Syrian food while supporting fundraising goals to launch this women-run, Syrian refugee catering company.
